Together with Gilianne, I am the parent of three kids, amongst which one lovely girl who happens to have the GRIN2B mutation. We live in the Netherlands, where I own a consulting company that supports businesses in expatriation processes of employees.
The combination of my business life and private life has given me the possibility to engage into conversations from which I have learned that many, many people know someone with a rare disease in their social circle. As a company we therefore found a goal in supporting the GRIN community by financing GRIN related causes, including scientific research into GRIN disorders.
